GUILHERME DABUS


Dr. Guilherme Dabus is the Director of the Fellowship Program in Interventional Neuroradiology/ Neuroendovascular Surgery at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute and Baptist Neuroscience Institute and also serves as Associate Professor at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine of Florida International University. Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Dabus served as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurological Surgery at Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University and as the Assistant Director of the Northwestern Neuroendovascular Program and Director of Neuroangiography at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

After finishing his studies in Brazil, Dr Dabus moved to the US where he completed a Neuroradiology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, followed by Interventional Neuroradiology/ Neurointerventional Surgery fellowships at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology - Washington University in St. Louis and at Massachusetts General Hospital - Harvard Medical School in Boston.

He has several publications including peer-reviewed manuscripts, invited review articles and book chapters. Dr. Dabus is an expert in the endovascular treatment of brain aneurysms, stroke and vascular malformations. He is an active lecturer, physician proctor and serves as a reviewer and member for several scientific journals and societies.
